SoCro Answers Back

February 17, 2014

Croatian-American hip-hop artist Eric “SoCro” Lisica took the time to answer back CroatianSports.com’s Prva Generacija regarding his February 13th article on the website. SoCro is a Chattanooga, Tennessee native who is on a mission to raise $6,000 through a Kickstarter campaign to launch his first official studio album. He has already reached 75% of his goal with only one week remaining.

Whether you like the hip-hop scene or not, you can’t deny that SoCro has the personality to get him wherever he needs to be in his career. He’s just looking for that initial push. If you would like to help SoCro reach his goal, you can contribute to his Kickstarter campaign here

Impressed with SoCro negotiating skills. Ziva did not get serve rather ScCro made a counter offer. Now ball is in Ziva’s court.

  4. Ziva Istina says:

The money from the Suspension Simunic fund should go to croatian language lessons for the likes of Ilicevic and if second-choice Sertic ever reaches the repka.

  5. Iggy says:

Let’s not be fags, ziva, i know that’s hard for you.

If there ever was any money left over it should go to whatever charity is most deserving back home.

    I know you’re making a joke but u know.. seriousness here : )

  6. Ante Kvartuč Ante Kvartuč says:

    @ Ziva, majstore etc,

The money was returned to all the donators weeks ago. We don’t believe in holding the funds and all that stuff since the original intent of the project wasn’t reached. And we don’t want to be the guys that can’t be trusted when it comes to money in the Croatian community. I’ve been burned before as I’m sure a few of you have as well.

  7. Iggy says:

    Yeah,

i think we all know of money we/our parents have sent back home that have gone to waste, that’s for sure : /

  8. Denis Svirčić Denis Svirčić says:

    @Majstore,

I’m not sure what is in plan for the Gotovina money. Most of it went to that ad in the Washington Times.

As far as the Simunic money, we refunded the money. The money was raised to pay Simunic’ fine. Since Simunic is lying low and didn’t want any more publicity, the money was refunded. We tried to come to an agreement with the donators where the $$$ should go, but in the end everyone had different views.

  9. Ziva Istina says:

You should have used that Suspension Simunic money and purchased an ad in one of the newspapers back in Cro.

Should have been something along the likes of the following: (please note I am deliberately butchering the grammar below, although some wouldn’t even notice)…….

Mi smo hrvati u America, Canada i Australia. We, mi volimo Hrvatka, Croatia i Joe Simunica. Svaki day je “Za Dom…..Spremni” dan za nas.
Leave Joe Simunic alone. Pustite na miru.
