Two months after the World Cup wraps up, Croatia will continue their tough schedule, playing European elites Spain and England, four times in a span of 60 days in the UEFA Nations League.
In preparation for the opener against Spain in Spain, Croatia will play Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal in a friendly on September 6th, staying on the Iberian peninsula. However, three days after Croatia’s game with England on October 12th, they have scheduled to host Jordan in a friendly.
The HNS has been doing much better with friendlies the past year, playing Mexico twice, a World Cup-bound Peru and now Portugal late in 2018, but why Jordan?
They have never qualified for the World Cup and one can only assume that Jordan made it very easy on Croatia to set this game up.
Wow, looks great, especially the conclusion. I was looking for this particular
topic for a few days throughout the nest, but there was nothing valuable, only found this https://marianszczepanski.com/compare-and-contrast-essay/, but still so pleased to reach your post in the end.
I am keen on that subject, and I want to be always aware of the latest news.
That’s a joy to read your article and eventually clarify the
issue myself.
Can someone please explain this nations cup to me? Why are we in it?
Doesnt the nations cup thing double as a euro qualifier in some way? Surely we take it seriously?
In another note, the only guy singing proudly in Ante’s #beproud graphic (above) is Freddy Mercury lookalike Vrsaljko.
gotta get rid f the mustache to, as he is starting to look like Baba-booey.
Really hope we take the Nations League seriously. Some dopes in the HNS are probably thinking we could win more money if we win League B.
The more competitive soccer we play, the more our team will evolve. We want the guys who can play vs other powerhouses.
we need to win our group
Fyi for anyone interested in Authentic National team gear from the source … the HNS website now ships worldwide.

@ Razbijač
I hope there a healthy amount of young legs in that final 23 man roster.
I cannot watch teams out run us.
World Cup is not for old tired legs.
@ Maminjo: Yep, A great year for Croatian football as far as quality of opponents.
@ Soul Champ
Yeah looks like Brozovic has found his spot as a deep lying playmaker. He’s been in exceptional form in his new found position. And yesterday he had a goal and assist.
Yep, the WC begins and ends with squad selection. The talent is there..
Inter Milan Hrvati starting to heat up?
Perisic on form is super dynamic!
Brozovic finding a home as deep lying playmaker.
Our World Cup will begin and end with squad selection.
All the talent is there.
Dalić has to dial up the right number!
Hajduk actively campaigning to break the all-time attendance record in one season. They need 54,000 fans to attend the last 3 home games. Cico #50,000 says he will officially change his name to Cico #54,001 if we succeed!
2018 is a crazy year for games.
Easily the most games played AND highest quality teams.
Peru, Mexico, Brazil, Senegal, Nigeria, Argentina, Iceland, France (probably), Portugal, Spain, England, and last but not least Jordan.
If we go far in the World Cup, there will be others.
There is no other year that comes even close to this.
It will be even better once that new stadium is built, and we can host a ton of these high caliber friendlies, qualifiers, and Nations League games.
This is all thanks to Suker and company.
Bravo Sukerman!
😉
Coric and Cilic playing after one another (vs Djokovic, Verdasco) on the same court in Monte Carlo this evening too
Or HNS can get the best hookers, drugs and booze for that money and enjoy it all themselves. Selfish bastards. Never once paid for drugs.
I agree, Jordan paid HNS a lotta money to get that friendly. Plus the only way HNS was going to agree to it if it was located in Croatia.
Wow Croatia lining up Portugal in a friendly before Spain! This goes to show you that Croatia is a high calibre team that nations want to play against. With the clout to line up Portugal to prepare for the Spain match.
HNS will get something like 1.5million Euro per match for the League of Nations. Plus with the money coming in from the WC, and the money that came in from the N. American tour (Croatia sold out both events, cause fans wanna see our stars), HNS should have the financial stability to invest in player development, and to higher quality coaches down the road.
So yeah, I’m keeping my fingers crossed HNS, Suker and Co. use these resources wisely, if they do, Croatia should be a formidable footballing force in the years to come.
@ Maminjo
Jordan friendly = $$$$$$

Modrić and Kovačić legs have just been saved!
With no World Cup Vidal was going to take someone out of our midfield.
