Nikola Vlašić is on fire!
The 21-year old scored against Real Madrid in Champions League. He’s scoring in handfuls for the Croatian U-21 team – 5 goals in 10 games – and he scored again Friday night for CSKA Moscow in a 2-0 win over Anzhi.
Currently on loan from English club Everton, Vlašić has been locked in the past month.
If Dalić doesn’t play him in November against Spain and England, when can he play him?
The future has arrived! And his name is Nikola Vlašić!
Some truly wonderful posts on this site, thankyou for contribution. https://zory.dlawas.pl
Nice maminjo. Remembering of course that the truth enjoys playing the devils advocate
^^^^^^This is what happens when a boy takes on a man.I think it is quite clear who is who.No need to add anything further.I have to say one more thing….it was a wonderful response.Well worth reading 🙂
I didn’t misinterpret anything.
You said that Vlasic should only play on the National team in two years, if he’s scoring against teams not named Anzhi.
You implied that his goals are meaningless because:
1. He scores against some inferior Russian League competition
2. Any goals scored in the top competitions were because of errors
Russia has multiple teams playing in European competitions for many years. So much so, that they are ranked ahead of the Portugese league in the UEFA coefficient rankings. Being 21 and successful in the sixth ranked league in Europe (and the Champions League) is no joke.
He, like many, scores off of errors. There are plenty of them that happen every game. The best offensive players are the ones that can efficiently capitalize on them. Vlasic does exactly that.
If you take that away from him, then you can take away the World Cup trophy from France (who won the World Cup entirely off of defensive errors…and referee errors too). I guess Griezmann, Pogba and Mbappe are not good enough for a callup if they were Croats.
You’re just at typical bitchy self-hating Croat, who (as many of them) have no clue what they are talking about and jump on anything negative to satisfy their sucky behavior. It’s the single biggest issue in that country, and it’s solely responsible for the stagnation that exists there.
Think you missed interpreted. I think it’s very likely vlasic and brekalo are called up in November. And even a fair chance they appear as a sub. they shouldn’t start though
Boss boy has arrived
If guys like Rashford, Sancho, Werner, Coman can be called up to the senior squads of Germany, England, and France without scoring or doing much for their clubs…why can’t Vlasic be called up for Croatia?
Mind you, Russia’s club coefficient ranking is 6th in Europe (behind France and ahead of Portugal).
Scoring regularly, as a 21 year-old, despite not being a striker…in the Russian league is no laughing matter.
Put a young player like Marcus Rashford on CSKA and I doubt he scores on Real Madrid or at an equal rate to Vlasic (yet England have no problem calling him up and even starting him).
Yes.
Most goals are scored off of defensive errors. Most people are not good enough to even score on the chances they get off of these errors (England’s young “superstar” Marcus Rashford missing several chances against us is a prime example).
Not many 21 year-old players can do this successfully, especially not on the big stage (Champions League) against teams like Real Madrid, with very few chances to do it.
Throw in the fact that he’s lead the U21s to the Euros (with 5 goals in 7 games) and has two goals in two Champions League games…all this while not being a striker…absolutely he should be called up to the senior squad.
Ha, i thought someone would say that… Should we base his starting though on him capitalizing on two terrible defensive errors in a fluke incident?
How about teams name Real Madrid, you idiot
If dalic doesn’t play him in November then when?… That one’s easy…. In two years if he’s scoring against teams not named anzhi
Vlasic must be UNLEASHED–effective immediately!!
Our best attack right now looks like Perisic on the left, Rebic up top, and Vlasic on the right.
I wouldn’t start Pjaca because he hasn’t exactly cut the mustard. And right now Vlasic is in much better form than Kramaric, so he gets the nod ahead of him.
Now we can be done considering Livaja, Santini, and Cop as options at all.
Vlasic definitely should be called up to the senior repka, but the starting attack still is Perisic, Rebic, and Pjaca or Kramaric (depending on formation). Vlasic would be the attacking option off the bench.
