Andrej Kramarić opened up the scoring Saturday in Hoffenheim’s 2-1 win over Augsburg as he slotted home the ball from the middle of the box in the 65th minute. It’s good to see Krama’s name on the scoresheet with Croatia hosting Spain this Thursday from Maksimir. If he and Ante Rebić can find their World Cup form with Croatia’s world class midfield behind them, anything is possible with two games remaining in Nations League.

Luka Modrić (above) and Real Madrid have some momentum behind them after a disastrous start to the season. Real Madrid defeated Celta Vigo 4-2 Sunday night – and with Barcelona losing – now trail the La Liga leaders only by four points. Modrić assisted Karim Benzema on the first goal of the game with a beautiful lob to put the Frenchman clear on goal after a nifty 360-spin.

Mandžukić Header vs. AC Milan
Our favorite retired striker was at it again Sunday, scoring the opener off a header in a 2-0 Juventus victory over AC Milan. Mario Mandžukić headed home in the 8th minute and Juve never looked back as they currently lead Serie A by six points. How much will Croatia miss him this week in their matches against Spain and England?
Rakitić Red Card
Ivan Rakitić was sent off in the 81st minute Sunday for his second yellow card of the match as Barcelona suffered a shock 4-3 home loss to Real Betis. With the defeat, Barca now only lead three other La Liga clubs by one point.
Tin Jedvaj showed his offensive prowess on Thursday as his Bayer Leverkusen side defeated FC Zurich in Europa League to book a spot in next year’s Round of 32. In the 60th minute, Jedvaj went flying to head home a header off a corner to seal the victory. Jedvaj is on the brink of cracking Croatia’s starting XI permanently. If he keeps this up, it will happen sooner than later.

Petković Bicycle Kick
Dinamo Zagreb have been unstoppable! They are currently undefeated in the HNL and have won their first four Europa League matches to book a spot in next year’s knockout round for the first time since 1970.
Sunday night in Zagreb, Dinamo defeated feeder club Lokomotiva 1-0 with one of the best goals you will see in Europe from the entire weekend. 24 year-old Bruno Petković – who is on loan from Italian club Bologna – nailed home a bicycle kick off a free kick while back tracking towards the goals. It was a thing of beauty as Dinamo now lead the Prva Liga by eight points.
Higuain had a roid rage.
Mandzukic is headed for another treble. Than Man u loss shows some weaknesses though.

What a goal
Two red cards for our boys so far today … Brozovic and Rakitic.
Hey truth, you know much about b-ball. I bet many call you Wiggins in your hometown.
Sounds like a terrible landing place for saric
Saric is actually a good playmaker and can do things with a lot of touches
He had to transform his game in Philly as embiid and simmons were going to command so much usage and be did an admirable job of that becoming a knock form three point shooter, making good cuts and the occasional post up
In min, he still won’t get the usage as guys like rose, Wiggins, towns are strong in that area.. Unfortunately he also won’t work as good off the ball cause guys are terrible passers
Saric to Minny as part of the Butler deal.
