After a 2-0 victory in Croatia last week, Rijeka once again downed their Scottish rivals 2-0 in Abdereen Thursday night to reach the Europa League Playoff Round. Rijeka are now 180 minutes away from the Europa League Group Stage with Belgian side KAA Gent in their way.

The two clubs will play in Gent August 22nd with the return leg in Rijeka seven days later.

Rijeka drew Osijek 1-1 on Sunday and currently sit three points behind leaders Dinamo Zagreb. Antonio Čolak has been on a tear for Rijeka in the early season; already scoring three HNL goals in five matches to add to his two Europa League goals.

Hopefully Rijeka rises to the occasion (like they generally do) and play above their heads in Europa.

Dinamo should qualify for CL this year too. Hopefully they keep Olmo, but it will be hard to turn down a record 25+ million offer… Especially since these kind of offers are rare during the winter transfer window.

Looks like Olmo is close to signing with Ajax. It would be a big blow for Dinamo in terms of the skill in their squad but it would bring lots of money. Maybe even open up some more playing time for the young guys on the team

Prosinecki was like Valderrama and Zizou in one.
And our youngest ever captain with the single greatest “sporting” moment at Maksimir.
Boban was also very like Zizou like. Extremely underrated if you ask me.
Still put Suker above Luka too.
    Scoring goals is not easy!
Saw a video of Suker v Germany in 98. Most of his touches that game. I sometimes forget how awesome he was.
No one gives a fuck about an Olmo.
    You can have him.
