Perišić Headed To North London?

January 11, 2021

Ivan Perišić has struggled to find time on the pitch this season – and while Inter Milan currently sit second place in the Serie A table – Antonio Conte has no reason to change his ways. Turning 32 years old on February 2nd, Perišić still has plenty left in the tank for both club and country, he just needs to find a pitch where he can play.

Back when Jose Mourinho coached Manchester United, the Portuguese manger had Perišić at the top of his wish list, FourFourTwo reports. The Croatian was on the verge of moving to England until the Reds Devils surprisingly signed Alexis Sanchez instead, which is now known to be one of the biggest flops in the club’s history.

Now that Jose Mourinho manages Tottenham Hotspur, could we see Ivan Perišić on the move to North London this winter transfer window? Tottenham have performed quite well in the Premier League this season and are in need of one more offensive veteran. Coming off of a treble winning season with Bayern Munich, Perišić is fit for the role. Although the winger is aging, his pace, skills, and passing are still elite – and his height, strength, and mobility make him perfect for the Premiership.

In order to stay in form for EURO 2021 this summer, Ivan Perišić must find minutes on the pitch in a top-five league, immediately. It is evident the Vatreni are going through a re-building stage, and Perišić must stay sharp while providing a positive influence to the young talents coming through Croatia’s ranks.

Perisic needs to get the hell out of Milan now! Inter Manager Antonio Conte has never included Perišić in his plans, and while Brozović thrives, Ivan rots on the bench. It’s evident Perišić is on the trading block at Inter as he has been healthy but only played 155 minutes in the past five matches. (That’s 30 minutes per match).

Many top teams would appreciate the talent that Perišić brings to the pitch, but Tottenham is most certainly his best option at the moment. There is no doubt that Jose Mourinho has had his eyes on Perišić for years and would love to have him in his squad as Tottenham fight for the Premier League title.

Hey guys, last post. Enjoyed my time here, but I guess somebody on here found my identity and is all over my social media accounts saying I am a traitor to my race. It is just straight up embarassing. He is saying this because of my pics and videos of me with my club team which is very diverse. I have many friends that are Black, Latino, Asian, and European, and I judge people by their character not by the color of their skin, and I say that as a Trump supporter.

Thanks guys for the fun banter. To the guy trying to ruin my reputation…just stop, you are making an ass out of yourself.

BZ, whoever did that to you is a LOSER!

we’ve all played this game with many mixed nationalities on our team!

  3. crnkovic says:

BZ we can all disagree with each other on multiple issues but there is no need for you to leave. Whoever is doing that to you is being an asshole and needs to stop. Don’t let them win

  4. crnkovic says:

    Just be yourself

  5. Maminjo says:

It’s just one dude who goes on this site saying the same thing under multiple accounts (who isn’t even Croatian).

  6. Suba says:

    BZ stick with us brother

  7. Marko says:

@BZ what a scumbag-never ceases to amaze the douchebags out there! Your a champ brate !

Anyone know why Vrsaljko not starting yet – mostly assuming he’s still easing his way back to full fitness, can anyone tell me if he’s slowly getting more mins (haven’t watched them much lately) he should be starter material over that chirper trippier. All he has is a free kick (as we all know) but Vrsaljko is much more talented all around, crosses etc. as Pickford, the England back line and John stones knows. Pumpkin pie hair cut he’s got is horrendous. Someone put a bowl on his head then cut..looks like Jim Carrey’s haircut from dumb and dumber. Give me that beer you pumpkin pie hair cutted freak !

  8. Crotown says:

Ivane had been a gamer in big games- just show up in the Euro and who cares about the rest- if he is not on – we’re toast

  9. Eric says:

I’m watching the Milan game…they are really missing Rebic.
Wow that Torino is full of balkans (serbs, kosovars, bosnians)

RE: Pericic..his days at Inter have been numbered for a while now. I think he would do well in England, as long as he gets playing time. Ivan deserves to finally get some stability in his career…I wish him all the best. I never understood how such a talented player could end up bouncing around teams with loan deals.

  10. Poglavnik says:

Fuck him! Let him chirp. Only makes him look like a fuckin traitor to the human race.

  11. Marko says:

@crotown so true – national team takes precedence rather him go easy just wondering how close he is to fully fit but as long as it’s time for euros.

@eric – agreed so dumb how perisic was clearly one of the stars at the WC(best chance to showcase your abilities to the world) and if it was a Brazil or Spain or German player who produced like him they woulda got signed somewhere big for sure…many players scoring one goal ina game have got signed to big clubs never mind having a successful deep run in a tourney….hell papa boupa diop goal vs France made him a star over night (perhaps it was the shock of beating the world champs as being an apparent inferior team from Africa. RIP papa-won’t forget that game – anytime the frogs lose I very much enjoy and that lingers since 98’ so worse now lol Fuxkin grease man overrated – fuck England – seasons too long – wish he just had better coaching and perhaps bigger club change to one of the other top Italian teams but he def should be starting not subbing late in that’s a joke

  12. BEĆAR says:

Perisic won’t start in Tottenham either. Just more bench time……

  13. ARMADA87 says:

Perisic can go to Hajduk. Guaranteed first team football for him there. Probably the captains armband too – for Croatia’s “most loved team”! Lol

  14. Maminjo says:

They might sell him for 1.5 million Euros though if some team from the Eastern Bloc starts calling.

  15. ARMADA87 says:

Was thinking about that. I had a funny feeling he’d end up at a club in Russia or Ukraine.

  17. caine says:

@BZ sorry about that lol…just keep blocking them.
Perisic has done his part in worldfootball, best player in the belgium league…beating the overhyped Debryne.
Jurgen Klopp almost destroyed his career after he complained of playing time…but Perisic was focus and recently thanked Klopp publicly.

  18. Soul Champ says:

    @ BZ

We have to stick together now more than ever.

This site is our Hrvatski centar.

Just like when Conte pretends that Perišić is not a quality player.

We cannot allow that nonsense to stop us.

  19. Branko says:

Pat miletich fired from his job as a UFC pundit for attending the debacle in DC last week…he apparently didn’t do anything wrong but attend?
You yanks need to define FREEDUMB!!

  20. Marko says:

    Bring back mandZo …

Not sure how legit this article is but his constant pressing was key for us…would love for him to come back to NT for euros but most likely not happening. Kramaric doesn’t do as well in lone supporting role up top and not since Eduardo have we been able to play successfully with a lone striker up top

  21. Eric says:

    I hope this is true!
Milan would be perfect for super mario. They need a good back up for Zlatan, who seems to be injury prone.
