Any opinions on this one?

The trigger: a question from Sun Editor-in-Chief Jose Rodriguez, asking White’s opinion of fighting in hockey.

But hockey quickly deflected to soccer, and White — boss of the world’s fastest growing sports organization — let loose with a blow Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic would have admired.

“Can’t stand soccer. It’s the least-talented sport on Earth. There’s a reason three-year-olds can play soccer,” White spat, his tone somewhere between glee and disgust.

“When you’re playing a game when the net is that big and the score is 3-1 — and that’s a blowout — are you (kidding) me?

“You know how untalented you have to be to score three times when the net is that big?”

A bold statement, to say the least, given soccer’s status as the most popular sport on earth, plus the popularity of UFC in countries like Brazil, where futebol is second only to the church.

One of those seething soccerites was a player named Jimmy Conrad, who happens to have been Major League Soccer’s 2005 Defender of the Year and a former captain of the U.S. National Team.

And defend Conrad did, putting together a video firing back at White, demanding to know if the ultimate fighting boss was willing to put his no-talent theory to the test.

“Why would a tough guy like you feel so threatened by soccer that you needed to go off on it unprovoked? Is it maybe because you know the one thing any three-year-old can do is fight? Hell, mine spent a whole year fighting me. But that shouldn’t threaten you,” Conrad told White, via the camera.

“I’m pretty sure you could hype a fight between two three-year-olds and make it the biggest thing since the ‘Thrilla in Manilla.’ But you wouldn’t do that, would you? Because you know that three-year-olds don’t understand the techniques, or tactics, or subtleties of your sport. Well, same goes for ours....”

The former Kansas City Wizard then challenged White to put up, or shut up.

“Here’s what I’m going to do. Because I like you, I’m going to give you the opportunity to join me and a few friends for a game of soccer. Since you believe playing soccer requires no talent, I’m sure you’ll be the star. Unless you’re scared.”

White apparently isn’t: “I’m in bro,” he Tweeted in reply.

The guy is a kid. The brains of the company really are the Fertitas. Dana White is just a steroid abusing mobster. He doesn't promote the fighters he promotes the company and I can't stand him for that. Look at the NSAC history and the formation of ZUFFA owned UFC. They lowered the bidding price by using insiders on the athletics commission to deny FEG the right to hold fights. Which made FEG have to fold.

The fertitas have done the same shady ass shit later. Filing bankruptcy for their casinos, and then later buying back their casinos for a 1/4 of the price.

On the soccer thing. Don't think it will happen. The outcome if it did? My sister could beat him in soccer.
